Content:
This photo is based in new York and its a symmetrical landscape photo of Adam jacobs. The work represents what Adams sees. The photographer doesn't call the image anything but it resembles the city of new-york and how busy it is on a daily-basis.The left side of the image is a reflection on the right-side of the photo. The theme of the work is symmetry and truly Adams passions. In my opinion the work communicates to me of truly how new york looks like on a daily basis and how mostly all tall buildings look the same. I could also sense the noise of cars and traffic being heard telling me there's is quite a lot of noise pollution in New-York.The image symbolizes how busy New-York is due to the amount of yellow taxis which show that a lot citizens and tourists are have intentions to be somewhere.
Composition:
Adam arranges his work very symmetrically by flipping the picture and reflecting it and captures the city as if he is in plane and its pictured from a birds eye view which makes it a significant from other photographers. . His original picture was framed. The ISO he uses is IS0 200 to capture a better quality photo. Adam has made use of the space quite well. There is leading lines in the image. And the image symbolizes the letter H in my opinion. The leading lines make the viewers eyes concentrated on them. In my opinion it looks like he used a low F-stop of f/16.He has a low shutter speed since ,the cameras outdoor, he has used a wide angle lens. The drone seems to take the shutter speed at 1/8 since its taken at an aerial view. The white balance is 6000k which is resembling daylight/cloudy.
Connection:
I like their work because it resembles why the photographer took this picture and the buildings symbolize how busy the city is.Also I will use Adams work as inspiration. The strengths of the image is the use of light on picture and there's a use of the rule of thirds in picture and there's a lot yellow taxis which really stand out to me.A weakness i can spot is probably the use of colour being quite dull and dark and not captivating to the viewer. Furthermore i understood why he took this image but for some people might not understand why he took that image. The skills i would need to focus is capturing the image in a symmetrical way and achieving an aerial view with a captivating colour to captivate the viewer.

Orkan mammadov
Context:
Orkhan mammdov is digital media photographer who was born in azerbaijan in 1990.He uses ancient islamic patterns and carpet illustrations and paintings uses his machine learning driven cultural phygital data sculptures and paintings. His work mainly reflects on the rapid and chaotic technological changes in the global context by rethinking middle eastern art and cultural heritage. He has a desire to explore uncharted territory where pasts meets present where tangible and intangible heritage assets converge and the real coexist
Content:This photo is based on middle eastern heritage and it's quite abstract and looks quite symmetrical. The work represents digital art of the middle eastern heritage. There is also some awkward shapes on the carpet. There is some awkward shapes around the corners of the colorful carpet. There is a wavy texture in the carpet symbolizing the wide range of middle eastern heritage. The use of colour and wavy and soft texture attracts the viewer's eyes to certain parts of the images. There is also some wavy texture effects at the ends and strands of the carpet
Composition:
Orkan arranges his work quite symmetrically by using a wavy and soft texture on the carpet from an aerial view and it's a very good aerial symmetrical effect which makes it so different from other symmetry-based photographers. There is also a clear background which tells me it was taken in a studio. An odd/even I noticed is that around the circle in the middle it's surrounded by some bright sky blue then theres some turquoise around the corners making go from light to dark and theres some stripes of yellow surrounding the inner circle of the wavy carpet with use of blending cold colours with warm colours which not many photographers do. There is a white balance of 6000k which is quite cloudy. In my opnion it looks like he used wide angle lens to capture the carpets soft texture and clear backdrop.
Connection:
I like their work because it really stands out from other photographers blending in digital art with ancient middle eastern culture. When i first saw this image I noticed the wavy texture on the carpet then later noticed some light to dark colour. The strengths of these images are definitely the wavy texture and use of colour blending between the cold colours and warm colours and there is also some soft texture feeling on the carpet.Furthermore I noticed there was blurry shades of colour in the right side of the image and behind the carpet which is barely noticeable to most

Shoot
BestThis is my best image in this shoot due to a focus on the lens and in the viewers eyes its symmetrical and they can see the chess pieces reflection reflection. The positive effect on this image was the ISO which resulted in a crisp clear image. The backdrop choice draws attention to the chess pieces. The shutter speed is low since the subject isn't moving has resulted in a clear focal point. The overall look of the photograph is very aesthetic symmetrical image of two chess pieces
|
WorstThis is my worst image in the shoot due to a very unclear focus on the lens making it blurry and less intresting. The negative effective of this image was the reflection making it look very asymmetrical as well as the backdrop being unclear as it doesn't have a smooth texture. The white balance has resulted in a too bright tone of the chess piece on the image. The shutter speed has resulted in a out of focus image which draws less attention to the image. I would improve by trying not occur a little camera shake a change the angle of the shoot to capture the whole reflection so it would result in a symmetrical image
